What you get

  • Updates itself

    On every start the server checks the Hytale version and downloads the new one. When an update comes out, restart the server and players can join again.

  • Log in from the console

    The server shows a link with a code in the console to log in to your Hytale account. The login is kept, so there is nothing to repeat after a restart.

  • Settings without JSON

    Name, password, slots, Adventure or Creative mode and view distance are on the Startup tab. The panel writes them into config.json for you.

    .jar and .zip files go into the mods folder, through the panel’s file manager or over SFTP.

Common questions

What do I need to start it?

A Hytale account that owns the game. On first start the server shows a link with a code in the console twice: first to download the game files (about 3.5 GB), then to log the server itself in. Open the link, sign in and approve.

How much memory does a Hytale server need?

4 GB or more, which is Hytale’s own minimum. View distance takes the most memory, so it defaults to the 12 chunks Hytale recommends. If it turns out to be too little, change the plan on the running server.

Why can’t friends join after a game update?

Hytale only lets in clients on the same version as the server. Restart the server and it downloads the new version as it starts.

How does hourly billing work?

A tier’s monthly price is split into 720 hours. Every hour the server exists, one of those is drawn from your wallet. Delete the server and the charges stop. No contracts and no minimum term.

How do I top up?

By QR code from any Kazakhstani bank’s app, from 100 ₸. The money is credited as soon as the bank confirms the payment. Promo codes go in the same place and land straight in the wallet.
