A free game server — on your own PC
Run Minecraft, CS2, Rust and 18 more games on your own computer, and pay nothing for it. Altyn gives it a public address through our relay in Astana: players connect with no static IP and no port forwarding, and you run the servers from the same panel.

Your PC, with a public address in Astana
Your computer never opens a port. It connects out to our relay in Astana, the relay takes the players, and the panel runs the PC like any other node.
Everything a rented server has — for free
Free
No hourly billing, no balance and no expiry: a server on your PC is never deleted for an empty wallet.
An address without a static IP
Works behind your router and your provider’s NAT: the PC only needs to reach the internet.
The whole catalogue
Minecraft, CS2, Rust, Valheim and the rest of the shop’s games, 21 in all, with the same ready-made modes.
You choose the resources
Give servers the whole PC, or keep part of it for your own games. The share is set in the panel and can change any time, as can each server’s size.
The same panel
Console, file manager, SFTP, startup settings, backups and subusers. And the AI helper in the console.
Told when it goes dark
If a PC with servers is out of touch for 15 minutes, the panel writes to you in Telegram once, and not again until it is back.
Good to know
- One PC per account for now.
- Servers run while the PC is on and online: when the computer sleeps, so do they.
- The power is your PC’s and the speed is your internet’s. For players, upload speed matters most.
- Up to 3 backups per server, kept on the PC itself.
- Up to 5 ports per server. No MySQL databases: our database servers are inside our own network.
Your PC stays yours
We let players into your computer, so we fenced everything else off from them first.
Fenced off from your home
Game containers cannot open connections to your home network, your router or the PC itself. Of the whole PC, only the port block is open to them, so your servers can reach each other.
Only your servers
Every server on your PC belongs to you. The panel will not put or move anyone else’s server there, ours included.
The tunnel is for players only
Your games, downloads and the rest of your traffic go out through your own internet as before. Only players and the replies to them use the tunnel.
Checked before it installs
The installer checks every file against published SHA-256 sums. The agent and wings are released under the MIT licence.
Gone with one command
Altyn Node keeps its firewall rules in chains of its own and takes all of them down when it stops. On Windows, the installer’s -Uninstall undoes everything.
Closed to game containers
Where a game server on your PC cannot open a connection. The rules live in the ALTYN-NODE-FENCE chain, and altyn-node doctor probes them live.

The relay and the panel — in Astana
Players join on the relay in Astana, and from there go down the tunnel to your PC. A player’s ping is the way to Astana plus the way from Astana to you, and for players and hosts in Kazakhstan both are short.
An example: the cities can be any.
The relay is in Astana
Players’ traffic comes in at Astana and goes straight down the tunnel to your PC, with no foreign proxy on the way.
The panel is in Astana
Accounts, servers and the panel’s database run in Astana, next to our own nodes.
In three languages
The My PCs page in the panel speaks Kazakh, Russian and English.
For your people
A server for your class, your clan or your town: invite your friends without paying for hosting.
What is under the hood
Altyn Node, our wings and the relay are built on open technology. This is what they are made of.
Altyn Node
The agent: brings up the tunnel and the routing, fences the containers off, repairs whatever broke every 15 seconds, and reports to the panel every minute.
- Go
- WireGuard
- iptables
- systemd
Wings
Our fork of Pterodactyl Wings: starts, stops and limits every game server.
- Go
- Docker
- cgroup v2
Windows
WSL2 with a Debian of its own, AltynNode, kept running by a scheduled task. No password is stored anywhere.
- WSL2
- Debian
- PowerShell
Linux
Debian or Ubuntu, natively: one install.sh, and systemd services for the agent and wings.
- Debian
- Ubuntu
- systemd
WireGuard
One peer per PC, an MTU of 1380 that fits PPPoE lines too, and a keepalive every 25 seconds.
DNAT, no SNAT
Ports are forwarded down the tunnel as they are, so servers see players’ real addresses.
connmark
On the PC, replies to players leave the way the requests came in. Nothing else goes into the tunnel.
nginx + TLS
On the relay: TLS for the wings API and the console’s websocket, at your PC’s own name.
In the panel, a PC is a node like ours: servers are created, configured and backed up with the same tools. Sign-in is through Altyn ID.
- Pterodactyl
- Laravel
- React
- MariaDB
- Altyn ID
One command
In the Add a PC dialog, the commands come with your pairing code already in them.
Builds are reproducible: a release is rebuilt from its commits byte for byte.
PS> powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File "$env:USERPROFILE\Downloads\install-windows.ps1" -Code <CODE>

FAQ
Common questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Servers on your own PC cost nothing: no hourly billing, no balance and no expiry. You only pay for your own electricity and internet.
Do I need a static IP or port forwarding?
No. Your PC connects out to our relay in Astana over WireGuard, and players join on the relay’s public address. Nothing changes on your router.
What do I need to start?
A computer with Windows 10 or 11, or with Linux (Debian or Ubuntu), an Altyn ID account and a stable connection. On Windows, the installer turns on WSL2 by itself and by default gives servers half the memory, all the CPUs and half the free disk, up to 100 GB.
Which games can I run?
Any game in the hosting catalogue: Minecraft (Java and Bedrock), CS2, Rust, Valheim, Terraria, Project Zomboid and the rest, 21 in all.
Will it lag?
A player’s ping is the way to Astana plus the way from Astana to you, so in Kazakhstan it stays low. What matters most is your PC’s power and your internet’s upload speed. For a big server, our nodes are the better fit.
Is it safe for my computer?
Servers run in Docker containers that cannot reach your home network or the PC itself. Your PC runs only your own servers, and Altyn Node takes all of its rules down when it stops.
What happens when I turn the computer off?
The servers go offline with it, and the panel shows the PC as offline, with when it was last seen. If a PC with servers is gone for 15 minutes, the panel writes to you in Telegram.
How many PCs can I add?
One per account for now.
Turn your PC into a game server
Add your PC in the panel, run one command and create a server: your friends join it at the relay’s address.
